Fishing at Hi Hium Lake for quality Kamloops Rainbow trout is consistently good throughout the season (from mid-May until September 30), depending on whatever the fish decide, with some days better than others. The lake is especially suited to fly fishing with many weed beds and shoals to attract fly fishermen of all degrees and skill. Plenty of open water also makes the lake highly suitable to other types of tackle - "flatfish", trolling gear, and various small types of fly rod lures. Fishing is restricted to artificial lures and single barbless hooks only.
Upon your arrival at the ranch, your hosts can provide you with an update on the fishing - the hottest fly patterns, where to fish, etc.
